Garazi Perez Oloriz

Born in the Basque region, Garazi was educated in Pamplona and at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona. From 2007 to 2009, she was a member of Dantzaz Konpainia in San Sebastián before moving on to Gauthier Dance. In her very first season in Stuttgart, she performed the title role in Christian Spuck's POPPEA//POPPEA for which she was nominated as Best Dancer by the magazine tanz. Another title role in Mauro Bigonzetti's Alice and her part in Eric Gauthier's duo Punk Love, fully covered in tattoos, proved no less spectacular. In Goecke's NIJINSKI she was the muse of Dance, Terpsichore. Garazi's piece Naked Eyes was invited to the prestigious International Competition for Choreographers 2012 in Hanover.
